Cousins Lyric Cook Morrissey, 10, and Elizabeth Collins, 8, missing from Evansdale, Iowa since Friday

Two young girls who went on a bike ride last Friday in a small rural town in northeast Iowa appear to have vanished into thin air. The girls were last seen early afternoon on July 13 before they set out on a bike trail near the girl’s home. The girl’s bikes were found, but no signs of the girls were found near their bikes.

 

Rescue teams checked out local water ways and lakes and searched 12-square-miles surrounding Evansdale, Iowa over the weekend, but nobody has yet to find any traces of the girls.

 

As days go by, the chances of finding the girls, Lyric Cook Morrissey, 10, and her cousin, Elizabeth Collins, 8, quickly diminish.
