The iPhone. Once upon a time it was a revolution, a market leader not only in sales but a perfect mix of style and substance. In october the iPhone took a good 40% of sales  smartphones,  and has attempted to retain its position as the smartphone to beat.

I need not go into details about the success of the iPhone, but I will say this. The other smartphones do not get a fair chance in the battle of the smartphones. I say this because for the premium price tag that you pay for a current generation iPhone you can just as easily get other phones that actually are much better. This has been fantastically demonstrated by a marketing campaign from Microsoft, Smoked by Windows Phone

On a Windows Phone you can take a picture from the lock screen and upload it to Facebook in about four seconds
